Shipping policy
At BBQs Australia, we’re a small Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality BBQs, cabinets, exhaust hoods, and food products. Every product is built to order with care and attention to detail. This policy outlines how we handle shipping, delivery, and related matters in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
1. Shipping Coverage
We currently deliver to transport depots only for customer collection.
This approach helps ensure safe handling and cost-effective delivery for our heavy and bulky items.
We provide FREE shipping to metro depots in:
- Western Australia (WA)
- Victoria (VIC)
- South Australia (SA)
- New South Wales (NSW)
- Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
- Queensland (QLD)
For regional or remote areas, freight costs will be calculated at checkout or quoted individually.
If you’re unsure whether your location qualifies as a metro depot, please contact us prior to ordering.
2. Delivery Method
All orders are shipped to depot locations for customer collection.
You will be notified by email or phone once your order has arrived and is ready for pickup. A valid form of identification may be required upon collection.
Please note: We do not deliver to residential or private addresses.
3. Handling and Dispatch Times
As we are a manufacturer, most of our BBQs, cabinets, and exhaust hoods are made to order or available on preorder.
Typical lead times range between 4–12 weeks, depending on the product, current production schedule, and material availability.
Once your order is completed and ready for dispatch, you’ll receive tracking details or depot collection information.
For in-stock items or smaller products (such as sauces and food items), dispatch typically occurs within 5–10 business days after payment is received.
During peak periods or for complex orders, lead times may extend slightly. We will keep you informed throughout the process.
4. Damaged or Missing Goods
All items are thoroughly checked and securely packed prior to dispatch.
If your order arrives damaged or incomplete, please contact us within 48 hours of collection at admin@bbqsaustralia.com.au, including photos and a brief description of the issue.
We will assess your claim and provide a repair, replacement, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.
5. Returns and Exchanges
As a small manufacturer, we are unable to offer returns for change of mind or incorrect ordering.
However, if a product is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law.
